Dear praying partners

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!

"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion , Thy God reigneth!" (Isaiah 52:7).

I would like to thank God for giving us another opportunity to serve Him in high mountains (7000 ft - 11000 ft) in the far western part of Nepal . Yes, we left for Baitadi on 14th of April and arrived back on 20th. I had prayed in my last trip to there that God would provide a team to reach other villages surrounding the chucrh that is located at Hat. God answered my prayers and just after a month, we had a team of 9 solders of Christ. This time we'd to reserved a van which took us to Dhangadhi in 14 hours. Then another 12 hours drive in a big bus in deadly, windy, narrow road took us to Shrivawar. There was heavy rain with hailstones as soon as we got off the bus and entered into a hotel. The only food available, Chapati and potato curry, felt very good for the rough-road-trodden body.

Then we started to hike down toward Hat with prayer and God gave us many opportunities to reach the precious souls He created in His own image. We went door to door in some villages. However, many of the villagers were digging the road and they curiously gathered as we started to share the good tidings. You can see me preaching among them in the attached picture file. I was humbled when they clapped as a sign of their heart joy. We asked them to gather at Hat for fellowship and left. We arrived at Hat hiking for 9 hours and found that the church was waiting for us. Again, we had a great fellowship with them and I had a great time to preach them and share the gospel to the newcomers. Then we had a great time in the nearby river.

Next day, we went to the nearby school where around 500 high school students were sitting in the examination. We reached them as they came out of the examination hall. All of us nine people were preaching the gospel at the same time. In addition, I had the chance to share Pascal's bet to some students who were saying that they didn't believe there were heaven, hell and God. We distributed 720 Johns and more than 500 tracts in two days. That afternoon, the church again gathered for special fellowship and God helped me to teach them about Christ's new commandment to love each other and to love the neighbors and to love God by obeying Him. In addition, I shared from Matthew 28:18-20 and asked them to share the gospel with their friends, neighbors and nearby villagers. They asked us to come regularly and we dismissed.

     Then we had a great discussion with two English teachers and the students. I preached the gospel for two hours showing the Words and comparing with the Hindu rituals. I took them through the law and challenged them to make sure to get to heaven before going to bed that night. They had many questions and God gave me wisdom to answer them. But we got to see the Maoist's torch procession that night and they were protesting against the new government.

     The next day, we took the long route to come back to the paved road. We hiked for 12 hours but couldn't make it. We shared the Gospel with many villagers and distributed many Johns and tracts. We got to the road at 10 am next day but enjoyed the nature which has beautiful mountains and rocks and pine forests. Oh, how beautiful they are! Then God provided us the trucks and vans to get down to Dhangadhi and then to Kathmandu . Glory be to Almighty Creator God alone!

     Thank you all for praying for our trip and you've your reward in Heaven. I would like to request to pray for the church at Hat and for the new church building. You can partner with us to reach the people living in high mountains. Now eventually the monsoon has started and I'll not get many chances to go out to the villages. But I'm sure that God'll give me opportunities to serve Him.
