Here are a couple of questions for you and they are rather pointed. What would you say to the fact that the new hate crimes bill, that they are trying to pass in Congress, potentially could allow a homosexual pedophile protection under this bill?  Also, those who would disagree with this lifestyle, could actually face prosecution and be arrested for being vocal about their beliefs. This in my opinion is a clear violation of the Constitution and our freedom of speech . What do you say? Is it actually "hate" when one disagrees about a person's lifestyle based on religious convictions? I think not, what saith you?

Ok, So I am going to throw out a question...  If there is one good thing on ABC.... should we watch it to raise the ratings of that show,...in hopes that the network would take notice and produce more family friendly shows...or does a person just block the channel all together?  I wish I could have given a good example, but the closest I coud have gotten was Extreme Makeover-Home Edition.  Besides the news, is there anything else that is family friendly on ABC?  I mean the KSFY news team is good, and Phil and Shawn Cable are great.  I believe Shawn a Christian too.   Sooooo.....Let me know what your thougts are??    I am certainly not into the legalism of giving out a do or dont list, and adding any more restrictions onto the Christian walk, I mean I know we have liberty...but I want to do what I can to protect my family from the filth that is out there...which will lead me up to another question in future posts.  So comment below or email me...   chadmoser@thelighthousecorsica.org

Today is the National Day of Prayer.  While listening to Joni and Friends Radio this morning, Joni read a prayer of Billy Grahams that he wrote for today.  It is a call to repentance as a nation...something we need to do.  I thought I would share it with you.


'Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance.  We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we Americans have done.  We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.  We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. What are we watching?  Remember the days when a person could turn on the TV and not have to be too concerned about an anti-family, anti-God agenda.  I actually cant....but its getting worse.  It seems this network and others are going to extreme lengths to pollute our families by desensitizing us to sin.  There is blatant profanity, nudity, crude humor, anti-Christian remarks, pro-homosexual programing, graphic violence, etc all over the place.  Its become commonplace.   ABC's programing is horrendous.  Go to their website and just browse the names of the shows.(Some listed below) 

ABC shows:  Wife Swap, According to Jim, Desperate Housewives, Dirty Sexy Money, Private Practice, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Cupid, Scrubs, Pushing Daisies, Ugly Betty, The View, Harry Potter, Dating in The Dark...To name a few.

I am taking this opportunity to vent a bit now, cause if the Senate passes the "Hate Crimes" bill, this will be illegal.  The Media, ABC in particularly, has become so intolerant of those who try to hold to a higher standard of morality.  They are called the American Broadcasting Channel, but they do not appeal to America...they concentrate on the agenda of anti-family values.  Take this time to send a message to the networks to let them know your feelings.  Consider joining the growing amount of viewers and just turn the channel therefore; Cutting it out of your life.
